Apprenticeship Program
Welcome to the Elevator Union Mentorship Program
The Elevator Union is known worldwide as one of the highest-paying and most competitive unions to join. With today’s global job market and increasing demand for stable careers, application windows are becoming more limited—and they fill up incredibly fast. In major cities, spots can be taken in as little as 30 seconds, with over 750 applicants rushing to apply the moment an opening goes live.
These opportunities only come around once every 2 to 5 years. Missing your chance could mean waiting years—years you could’ve spent gaining experience, possibly even reaching foreman status by the time the next opening rolls around.
This mentorship program is led by a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) and is designed to guide you through the entire process—from submitting your application, to passing the test, to succeeding in the interview.
Each state has its own local union, and in large states like California, Texas, New York, and Florida, there are multiple locals you may be eligible to apply to.
